New doors for an old cabinet
A built in cabinet from the 60’s needed a bit of love. The door hinges were coming off on various doors, the magnetic latches had come off and the melamine coating was giving up on the sides. The client wanted something warmer for the entrance of their home, since the walls and floor were already quite light.
MDF doors were chosen with a european oak veneer on top, some new selfclosing hinges were added to skip the need for magnetic latches.

Oak Veneered mdf doors were made
and stained using Rubio Monocoat oil
and slim black handles were added that wrap around the door.
the grain pattern runs up through both doors
black handles added up top
accross from the big cabinet there was a cubby with shoes, this cubby now also has similar doors
with similar handles :)
